The Playground sign (W15-1) is a warning sign that may be posted in advance of a playground.
Description
The sign is a diamond-shaped warning sign, with a symbol depicting two children on a see-saw.
Sizes
The 2009 MUTCD defines a standard size for this sign as 30" x 30" for single-lane conventional roads and 36" x 36" for multi-lane conventional roads, and a minimum size of 24" x 24".
Color
The legend and border is non-reflective black. The standard background color is retroreflective yellow. For temporary signs in work zones, a retroreflective orange background is used.
